Driftless Pizza Co. is operated by BPTRDBQ LLC, 333 E. 10th Street, Dubuque, Iowa 52001 (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains what information we collect through our website, our Driftless & Backpocket phone app, forms and text messages, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and the details you include when you send an event inquiry, book an event, apply for a job, request a donation, or sign up for our emails or texts.
- Text message consent: your mobile number and your agreement to receive texts from us.
- Website usage: basic information our website host collects automatically, such as pages visited, browser type and approximate location.
- Our phone app: the Driftless & Backpocket app does not ask you to sign in and does not use your location. When you scan one of our QR codes, we note which venue and code it was and your phone type (iPhone or Android). If you turn on notifications, we keep a notification address for your phone so we can send them; you can turn them off any time in your phone's settings.
- Online orders, gift cards and rewards are handled by our point-of-sale provider, Toast, and reservations by OpenTable. Information you enter on those services is also covered by their own privacy policies. We do not store full card numbers.
How we use your information
- To fill orders, respond to inquiries, and book and manage events, including confirmations, reminders and updates
- To review job applications and donation requests
- To send marketing emails or texts, only if you have opted in
- To operate, secure and improve our website and business
How we share your information
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our point-of-sale, payment, reservation, email and text messaging providers, and only as needed for them to provide their services. We may also share information when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Your choices
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Texts: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts.
- To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact us below.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
